Chris Anderson

Chief Executive Officer

Chris Anderson is Chief Executive Officer of Compactor Rentals of America, where he is leading the company's next chapter of growth as the nation's premier compactor, baler, and waste systems platform. Previously serving as CRA's Chief Revenue Officer, Chris played a central role in transforming the company from a regional equipment rental business into a national organization — expanding its commercial platform, national account capabilities, acquisition strategy, and industry-leading ServiceLink network. Today, his vision extends beyond building a larger company. Chris is focused on building a better industry: developing CRA's Garbologists® as trusted waste systems experts, creating a culture of One CRA across a growing national organization, and bringing greater expertise, consistency, technology, and accountability to commercial waste infrastructure. With more than 20 years of leadership experience across equipment rental and industrial services, Chris believes enduring companies are built by great people, strong relationships, disciplined execution, and an unwavering commitment to the customer. He holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Utah and an MBA from Penn State University.

Chief Operating Officer

Chris Sutter is Chief Operating Officer of Compactor Rentals of America, leading the execution of CRA's strategic initiatives, operational excellence, integration, and technology transformation. With more than a decade of leadership experience across equipment rental and industrial services, Chris has built a track record of developing scalable processes, integrating acquired businesses, and using technology and data to improve how organizations operate. As CRA continues to expand its national platform, Chris is focused on building the operating infrastructure behind One CRA — connecting people, processes, systems, and service capabilities to create a consistent experience for customers and employees across the organization. His disciplined approach to operational excellence is helping CRA scale while preserving the responsiveness, accountability, and customer-first culture that have fueled the company's growth. He holds a BS in Finance and an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

Jeff Emerling

Chief Revenue Officer

Jeff Emerling is Chief Revenue Officer of Compactor Rentals of America, leading CRA's sales and marketing organization across North America. With more than 25 years of leadership experience across equipment rental and industrial services, Jeff has built and led high-performing commercial teams with a focus on national accounts, disciplined sales execution, and sustainable growth. As CRA continues to expand its national platform, Jeff is focused on developing the people, processes, and commercial strategies that make it easier for customers — from individual locations to complex multi-site organizations — to do business with One CRA. Known for his data-driven approach to sales leadership and his commitment to developing people, Jeff is helping build the next generation of CRA's commercial organization while strengthening the company's position as a trusted waste systems partner. He holds a BS from the University of Dayton.

Joel Brown

Director of Field Operations

Joel Brown is Director of Field Operations at Compactor Rentals of America, leading the execution and continued development of CRA's field operations platform — including service, installations, supply chain, logistics, and asset deployment across the company's growing national footprint. With more than 20 years of experience across the waste, environmental services, and waste equipment industries, Joel has built and led high-performing teams, improved operational and financial performance, and helped organizations navigate periods of significant growth and transformation.

As CRA continues to expand nationally, Joel is focused on building the operational infrastructure required to scale the business — creating repeatable processes, standardizing best practices, optimizing asset utilization, and ensuring CRA delivers a consistent customer experience as it serves increasingly complex national accounts. He also plays a central role in post-acquisition integration, identifying operational synergies and bringing newly acquired operations into CRA's broader service and operating platform.

He holds two bachelor's degrees from the University of Oklahoma, with disciplines in business leadership, strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.

Van Welch

Chief Financial Officer

Van Welch is CFO of CRA, overseeing finance, accounting, compliance, and M&A. With over 30 years of experience in industrial services and infrastructure, he has helped lead companies through significant revenue growth, operational improvements, and successful mergers and integrations. Van brings a proven track record of supporting executive teams through transformation and scale. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
